Learn how to write technical documentation in less than one week. During our technical writing boot camp, you’ll get to know everything about methods, programs, graphics, etc. Everything you need to get to work with your technical documentation.

Who should attend?

The Technical Writing Bootcamp is intended for (aspirant) technical writers who need to learn the tricks of the trade in a very short period of time.

Prerequisites

You need to be familiar with PCs and the Microsoft Windows environment.

Training objectives

The Technical Writing Boot Camp aims to introduce you to as many aspects of technical writing in just 5 days. You will not only learn how to use a number of software programs, but, more importantly, learn how to design professional-quality documentation in an efficient and productive way.

Duration

A Technical Writing Bootcamp takes 5 days. These do not need to be consecutive days: they can be taken in a two-week time frame.

Venue

The training sessions can take place at your company (in-company training) or at our Flow training center in Ghent, Belgium.

Requirements for training at Flow’s training center:

  • One laptop* per participant with a (trial) version of the required software installed

Requirements for in-company training:

  • One laptop* per participant with a (trial) version of the required software installed

*Make sure that your Windows User Account has Administrator rights or that User Account Control (UAC) has been disabled.

In class, you may have to change configuration files or install additional software.
