Also keep a fixed space between number and unit (such as EUR, kg, etc.)

To insert a fixed space:

The decimal point: officially the British use a comma, e.g. 99,50 EUR; 37,75 kg, but a point is common practice (especially in the US), so 99.50 USD; 37.75 lbs.
